Petros Moulagiannis 6. Dan Aikikai Hombu Dojo started his martial arts practice in 1989, at the age of 18, practicing Shotokan Karate.

He started practicing Aikido in 1996, under the teaching and close guidance of Mr. Giorgos Koliopoulos, at the FukuShinKan Dojo, where he taught for a number of years as Fukushidoin and then as Shidoin of the Hellenic Aikido Association. Alongside, he practiced for a number of years at the Aikido of Athens under Mrs. Janet Clift and Mr. Eamonn Devlin. In August 2000 he received the 1st dan Aikikai, in June 2003 the 2nd dan Aikikai, in January 2007 the 3rd dan Aikikai and in December 2010 the 4th dan Aikikai. In 2010 he founded the Aikido Tokaido Dojo and in 2011 he formed the core of the Hellenic Aikido Association (HAU). In the same year, he began studing and practicing systematically the methodology of Shihan Christian Tissier.

Since 2014, he has been practicing under the direct supervision and technical guidance of Michel Erb Shihan, a close student and partner of Mr. Tissier. In January 2024 he was awarded by Doshu and the Aikikai Hombu Dojo, the 6th dan. Throughout his Aikido practice, he has attended both in Greece and abroad numerous seminars by high-ranking Japanese and European instructors, while he has organized and taught at many seminars and events in Greece and abroad. Since 2004 he has been practicing Iaido in which he holds the rank of the 4th dan.
